A Sculpture at Princeton Campus, New Jersey, USA

This sculpture, set in the open spaces of Princeton’s campus in New Jersey, USA, reminded me to look- beyond what’s in front of us, to explore- what lies within and beneath. It’s not just a figure shaped like an ‘8’. Similarly, a person cannot be defined by appearances alone. There’s always a deeper meaning and an unseen perspective waiting to be discovered.

During our visit to Princeton’s campus in New Jersey, I found myself reminiscing about my school days as I was exploring. I came across this intriguing sculpture shaped like an ‘8’ on an open space, on my way to Blair Hall from Cannon Green. The sculpture is called “Oval with Points” by the British artist, Henry Moore. It is a well known piece on Princeton’s campus
