Asian Market at Marina, Monterey, California, the film site of the hit reality TV show, Unexpected Business Season 3
My brother Sunny, from Livermore, California, visited Singapore to attend my daughter’s wedding on October 12, 2024. After the wedding, he flew back to San Francisco (SFO) with me and my husband, as we embarked on a tour of the U.S. from October 19 to November 2. Our itinerary included a flight from Singapore to Boston, with a stopover at SFO.
My brother Sunny, from Livermore, California, visited Singapore to attend my daughter’s wedding on October 12, 2024. After the wedding, he flew back to San Francisco (SFO) with me and my husband, as we embarked on a tour of the U.S. from October 19 to November 2. Our itinerary included a flight from Singapore to Boston, with a stopover at SFO.
With a layover from 9:30 AM to 9:30 PM, we decided to make the most of our time and visited the filming site of Unexpected Business Season 3. Our adoptive brother, Eric, who also lives in Livermore, picked us up and drove us to Marina, Monterey County, California, home to the famous Asian Market featured in the show.
Of course, I couldn’t pass up the chance to buy the iconic gimbap showcased in the series, still priced at just $2—exactly as it appeared on screen. We also captured some memorable moments, taking photos with the poster of the show’s stars, Jo In-sung and Cha Tae-hyun.
One of the highlights in the reality show was the boxing machine, frequently seen in the show.
Though it was a long drive and we were anxious about missing our connecting flight to Boston, the trip was worth every minute. It wasn’t just about visiting the film site, but a special moment of bonding with my brothers as we made the journey to Marina together.
